Multi Trader

Bristol | £37,500 + Company Van + Fuel Card + Uniform | Full-Time | Permanent

Are you an experienced Multi Trader with strong carpentry, plumbing and general property maintenance skills? A well-established building and maintenance business is looking for an experienced Multi Trader to support a busy social housing and residential maintenance contract across Bristol and the surrounding region. You will carry out reactive maintenance, planned works and repairs within occupied and void domestic properties. This is a varied, hands-on Multi Trader role requiring someone who can work independently, manage their own workload and confidently complete repairs across several trades.

The role is based around Bristol, although regular travel outside the immediate area will be required depending on operational needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete first and second fix carpentry and plumbing repairs.

• Carry out kitchen and bathroom installations.

• Repair minor leaks and replace sanitary ware.

• Complete ceramic wall tiling, vinyl flooring and general floor repairs.

• Undertake painting and decorating works where required.

• Carry out basic external property maintenance and repair works.

• Work safely with non-licensed asbestos where required following full training.

• Maintain the company van, tools and materials in a clean and organised condition.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Demonstrate strong Multi Trader experience within domestic properties.

• Have practical skills across carpentry, plumbing, decorating, tiling and flooring.

• Be confident soldering and completing general plumbing repairs.

• Possess good knowledge of construction materials and maintenance methods.

• Have experience within social housing or residential property maintenance.

• Work independently and manage daily jobs effectively.

• Provide a professional service when working in occupied properties.

• Hold a full, clean UK driving licence and be comfortable travelling across the wider region.

The successful Multi Trader will need to provide two suitable references and be willing to complete a DBS check if required.

A company van, fuel card and uniform will be supplied.
