Workshop Recruitment’s Manufacturing department boasts a team unrivalled in terms of knowledge and experience. Comprising of Colin Walker, Daimion Eastley, Clare Sayers and Danielle Hider, they have between them a staggering 92 years of experience, directly recruiting for manufacturing companies ranging from multi-nationals to local small scale operations. What they don’t know about recruiting for organisations in this sector truly isn’t worth knowing and they are keen to help you with any of your recruitment needs.

A short biography of each team member is below:

COLIN WALKER - DIRECTOR

Colin is one of Workshop Recruitment’s Directors and is the longest serving member of staff having worked for the business for an impressive 33 years. His focus has always been on the industrial/manufacturing side of operations, however he now splits his time between actively recruiting and finance/compliance for the business. He specialises in finding Assemblers, Packers as well as unskilled and semi-skilled production workers. He notes ‘Workshop has been recruiting in the industrial market for over 33 years. We have developed strong, long-standing relationships with many companies over that time and we understand local businesses and the specific recruitment challenges they face. Many people in our geographical area have either found work via Workshop or know of our strong reputation as a first-class recruitment agency and clients rely on our knowledge, experience and capacity to find quality candidates when they need them’

DAIMION EASTLEY - DIRECTOR

Daimion is another of Workshop Recruitment’s Directors, his career in recruitment spans 26 years, having started as a trainee consultant filling manufacturing/production roles. He credits the success of the division being due to the breadth of experience and knowledge of the team members which have enabled the business to work with some of the biggest manufacturers on the South Coast. He specialises in finding Production Line and Manufacturing Operators, Manufacturing Team Leaders, Warehouse/Logistics Operators as well as Engineering roles linked to manufacturing/production. Daimion acknowledges ‘Because of our experience of working with our clients for many years we are uniquely positioned, not only in understanding precisely what type of candidates they need but also about the changing landscape of manufacturing/production processes and this enables us to be further integrated into their business’

CLARE SAYERS - RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT

Clare has been with Workshop Recruitment for 31 years, having initially started on a YTS scheme. She quickly found her niche within the manufacturing team and specialises in filling a wide range of manufacturing roles including Production and Warehouse Operators, Forklift and Assemblers, predominantly on a temporary basis but she also fills a variety of permanent vacancies in this sector too. She notes ‘It’s incredibly rare to find a team that has the wealth of knowledge and experience we can offer, not only in the manufacturing industry but within the same organisation. This loyalty reflects in the service we can offer our clients. We have built strong, long-lasting relationships with our customers, we get to know their business and the type of staff they are looking for so we can ensure we supply the right fit of candidate. The quality of the day to day service we provide both clients and candidates shouldn’t be underestimated either. We ensure we keep everyone up to date and never shy away from the difficult conversations.’

DANIELLE HIDER - RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT

Danielle is the newest member of the team, having been in the industry for just over 2 years. Her fresh and energetic approach has made her a firm favourite with candidates and clients alike. Like her fellow team members she is adept at filling a wide range of vacancies but specialises in Production Operators, Assemblers and Warehouse picking and packing roles on both a temporary and permanent basis. Like Clare, she is keen to point out ‘The service the manufacturing team provide both its clients and candidates is second to none. As a recruitment consultant it’s hugely important to build honest relationships with candidates and clients. Our client list clearly demonstrates our ability to build and sustain those relationships and as such we enjoy working with some of the best manufacturing organisations on the South Coast.’
