National Stress Awareness Week

This week marks National Stress Awareness Week. An opportunity to consider the impact stress can have on our day to day lives, and highlighting ways to manage it before it becomes a problem.

Stress can manifest in various ways and affect both our physical and mental well-being. It is important to understand our stressors and causes in order to deal with it effectively. Today, on National Stress Awareness Day we encourage everyone to consider the things they could do to lower their stress levels and improve their well-being.

Check out these top tips to promote well-being and manage your stress:

Consider Your Work-Life Balance

Managing your time effectively between work and personal commitments will help to avoid feelings of overwhelm.

Lead a Healthy Lifestyle

Nourishing your body also nourishes your mind. Maintaining a healthy diet and exercising regularly can be an excellent stress reliever.

Create a Strong Support Network

Reach out to family, friends and colleagues if you are struggling. Talking can provide much needed relief and support.

Prioritize Self-Care

Make time for the activities you enjoy and spending time with the ones you love. Self-care is essential for improving your wellbeing.
