Fareham | £26 per Hour | Own Van & Tools Required | 40 hours per week Mon-Fri | Temporary – Minimum 2 Months

Are you an experienced Plumber with strong domestic repair skills and the ability to work independently across occupied and void properties?

Workshop Recruitment is looking for experienced Plumbers to support a busy social housing maintenance contract in Fareham. Initially, you will focus on void properties, keeping travel between jobs to a minimum, before potentially moving onto day-to-day responsive repairs.

This is an urgent temporary Plumber position offering a minimum of two months’ work, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, pipework, taps, toilets, showers and baths.
• Complete first and second fix plumbing works.
• Install and replace bathroom suites and sanitary ware.
• Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of completed works.
• Communicate professionally with residents, supervisors and colleagues.
• Leave properties safe, clean and tidy following completion of work.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Have proven experience working as a domestic Plumber.
• Possess strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Work confidently and independently while managing your own workload.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Have your own suitable van and tools.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Ideally have social housing or property maintenance experience.
• Live within approximately 20 miles of Fareham
• Applicants must be willing to undergo a DBS check if required.
