Happy National Manufacturing Day 2026!

Today is a great opportunity to celebrate the businesses and people that keep UK manufacturing moving.

For us at Workshop Recruitment, manufacturing has been a huge part of our story for decades. We’ve built long-standing relationships with manufacturers across the South Coast and nationally, supporting them with everything from production and assembly through to CNC, engineering, quality, maintenance and management.

A huge thank you to all our customers, both long-standing and new, for trusting us with your recruitment over the years. Your support has played a big part in making Workshop the business it is today.

And what better way to celebrate than getting out there and meeting more of the businesses behind manufacturing in our region?

Today, members of our team are out visiting prospective clients, meeting the people behind local manufacturing businesses and finding out what challenges they’re facing when it comes to recruiting and retaining the right people.

A special mention to Daimion Eastley, Clare Sayers, Grace Feasey and Bradley Landing, who bring specialist knowledge, sector experience and a genuine understanding of the manufacturing and engineering roles we recruit for every day.

We know that finding the right person is about more than matching a CV to a job description. It’s about understanding the business, the role, the culture and what will make someone successful.

Here’s to the people who design it, make it, build it, maintain it and keep it moving.

Happy National Manufacturing Day from everyone at Workshop Recruitment!
