The awareness day is the brainchild of the World Kindness Movement – a global coalition of kindness NGOs.

First observed in 1998, it has grown as a movement over two decades, with the World Kindness Movement continuing in their work to make kindness the norm worldwide.

It is celebrated every year on November 13th.

As a business we were keen to observe this day in the office as we all know how even the smallest act of kindness can really make a difference to someone’s day.

Taking the time to make that extra cup of coffee for a colleague or helping them solve a particular work-related problem is something that we can all achieve.

One particular act of kindness extended to the entire team was provided by Recruitment Consultant Sophie Carson, who delighted us all with gorgeous brownies this morning - they were very much appreciated!

Kindness is something that is within everyone’s power and the benefits to all shouldn’t be underestimated.
