Senior Quality Operations Manager

Our client is currently recruiting for a Quality Operations, Senior Manager on a permanent basis within the

Quality department, to join an experienced and committed team, where as a team they manufacture

around a fifth of the company’s global sales output.

This is a key role in leading the QA Operations team and collaborating with relevant functions at plant,

global and vendor levels to help achieve plant objectives and corporate requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for not only ensuring they are a proactive champion for their

own environmental impact and their health and safety but also ensuring they proactively protect the

environment and health and safety of everyone around them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team to meet plant objectives (service, quality, safety, cost) in line with corporate requirements.
• Lead the effort to identify opportunities for improvement within department and the plan.
• Develop a collaborative relationship with packaging, Regional QA and key vendors to achieve target quality and improve it when needed.
• Effectively represent plant and function in global teams to share / obtain / develop best practice and lead team when needed.
• Understand customer requirements and support delivering them in line with corporate standards.
• Plan for the department’s future, ensure capabilities and succession plans are in place to meet business needs
• Ensure OTC finished goods are released in line with procedure and regulations.
• Support Plant and Global programmes to ensure compliance in key areas including Good Manufacturing Practices, Data Integrity, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors degree in science related field
• Drive and tenacity for Continuous Improvement
• Leadership and influencing skills
• FMCG experience would be preferred
