Our client is looking for an experienced `Sales Manager`, your primary role is to lead and motivate the sales team so as to promote and sell the company`s products and services. Working closely with the CEO and Finance Manager, you will be responsible for setting monthly team and individual targets linked to the annual budget and Business Plan. You will be required to monitor and track individual sales team members` (Account Managers) performance providing both feedback and coaching as required. This will also include any recruiting; performance management and dismissal as may be necessary. As part of the Senior Management Team you will actively participate in developing the company`s strategic and financial plans taking lead responsibility for the development of new or complimentary products and services together with identifying ways of improving market share by territory or country.
Finally, you will be expected to have an in-depth understanding of the company`s market sector, clients and their business needs for company services so as to successfully improve sales performance and profitability going forward. You will have a real go getter attitude with excellent organisation skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and motivate the Sales Team to achieve previously agreed targets.
  • Foster a high-performance culture of collaboration and creativity to ensure business goals.
  • To align with sales coach & trainer to consistently improve team performance.
  • Provide feedback, coaching and development of direct reports.
  • Develop products and services in line with the Business Plan.
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets so as to grow the company`s core broker numbers and boat listings.
  • Own opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle, adopting a consultative selling approach with clients to understand their business challenges and provide guidance and consultancy on the right solution that will unlock their organisation potential.
  • Forecasting, analysing P&L`s, monitoring competitors and changes in the market to ensure that the correct sales strategy is in place maximizing revenues.
  • Experience in developing sales strategies and forecasts, in particular by identifying, attracting and developing new business opportunities and clientele.
  • Working in conjunction with the Finance Department to ensure the accurate recording, billing and payment for services rendered.
  • Maximising company profit.
  • Identify potential risks in revenue and put in place plans to correct shortfalls.
  • To develop relationships with `Blue Chip` clients so as to improve the overall appeal of business and develop market share.
  • Managing customer service to exemplify the businesses reputation.
  • Generate new leads by searching organisations/agencies or individuals and having the resilience to get in front of those people.
  • To participate in Senior Management meetings as required.
  • To attend client meetings where appropriate.
  • To attend key events and exhibitions from time to time to help promote the business and company brand.
