In this role you will support the Telesales Manager in supporting customer accounts and growing their spend. You will develop and maintain the customer base and help to bring on new customers.
You will receive excellent training in this position and you will be enrolled onto a Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 course, to learn how to provide a high-quality service to customers within the workplace, digitally, or in-person and everything a customer service role entails. This shows the company are invested in you for the longer term and will continue to upskills you in your role.
Main Duties
Support the Telesales Manager to lead, plan and implement the domestic sales growth strategy.
Take responsibility of a data set of lapsed customers to win back and promote additional services.
Grow and develop new customer base in areas of low penetration
Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are maintained
Develop and maintain existing customer base into new areas.
Complete the training programme with Learning Skills Partnership.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience of working in a fast-paced customer service environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills including an ability to effectively deal with telephone and email enquiries
Maintains and inspires a results-driven approach, focuses on results and critical performance indicators
Identifies opportunities and is pro-active in putting forward ideas and potential solutions
Shows by a range of verbal and non-verbal signals that the information being received is understood
Good IT skills with experience of using MS Outlook, Word and Excel
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Effective organisational skills
Evidence of ability to work co-operatively with others to meet tight deadlines
Previous sales experience is desirable but not necessary but the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the knowledge and skills associated with selling is required
