Inventory Analyst

18-month contract

A great opportunity to be part of a world leading organisation. In this role you will be supporting an exciting journey of innovation, change and transformation. The successful candidate will be accountable for the ongoing book to physical stock alignment of materials supplied to, stored at and from the company’s Vendors.

Key Duties

  • Setting up and maintaining Monthly inventory controls, checks and reporting for inventory levels (off all types), adjustments to and from the warehouses with the appropriate sign off.
  • Ensure that Material scrappage and returns processes are managed in a compliant and effective manner.
  • Responsible for the stock level KPI reporting by Vendor for Blocked, Excess and obsolescence.
  • Complies with all prescribed Safety, SOX and GMP procedures.
  • Documents and owns discretionary inventory related SOP's to align with auditable process requirements
  • Actively supports Continuous Improvement initiatives to drive Right First Time mentality.
  • Ensure Annual/ Monthly cycle stock reporting/ measurable KPIs are enabled with monthly reports generated to reflect stock variance by SKU/Quantity and value.
  • Responsible for root causing and resolving inventory discrepancies identified through the controls from execution, rework and external pack off activities to ensure that material can flow on time and in full.
  • Accountable for the compliant adjustments to stock between company and Stock at Vendor.
  • Accountable for the inventory transfer from plant to permanent third-party production facilities

Skills and Experience

  • Strong maths (addition, subtraction, percentages and averages)
  • Must have strong PC and SAP skills
  • Higher level of Excel and proficient MS Office computer skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills and drive accountability
  • Ability to troubleshoot and multitask
  • Ability to teach and train internal and external heads.
  • Self-motivated, starter finisher with high level to attention to detail
  • Have high levels of agility considering work locations and able to travel to Vendor locations if required.
