Our client is the destination website for home furniture and furnishings that allows you to search an incredible choice of furniture products across the retail marketplace, all in one place. It is a new way to search, discover, compare and purchase furniture and furnishings online.

As Social Media Executive you will be responsible for maintain, establishing and growing influencer relationships and social media presence within the marketplace. You will look to connect with and reach with the right people both on and offline. You will advance the marketing strategy through to the consumer by creating a network of influencers to speak about the brand whist simultaneously connecting with and building a community of fans through an engaging social media presence. You will embody the brand, connect with consumers and be an advocate for the brand. Social is a key and powerful part of how they communicate with, engage and understand their customers.

You will be driven and excited by the business targets. You will join a growing marketing team and be a key element of the team, you will naturally possess a strong sense of ownership for meeting your deliverables – tracking performance to plan continually and naturally approaching your role with an entrepreneurial mind-set to ensure the business targets are achieved at all times. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and enjoy driving business results. This role reports to the CMO and will also work closely with the founder and CEO.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishing the in-market influencer strategy based on knowledge of market, pre-established influencer relationships and understanding of which influencers are target right for the brand
  • Marketing product to digital influencers, brand ambassadors and consumers on a daily basis
  • Achieving engagement objectives daily to meet key monthly, quarterly and yearly milestones within given budget
  • Demonstrating an active understanding of digital marketing knowledge & social media trends and communicating this to the wider marketing team
  • Stay up to date on new social media tools, best practices, competitive activity and other social media leaders to bring early adopter technologies and trends
  • You will champion the brand by creating and developing new and inventive techniques to promote our offering across social networks (mainly Instagram, but also identifying key platforms that we should consider if applicable)
  • Oversee day-to-day operations on the brand's social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest) including execution of content strategy and community management
  • Ensure questions, comments and related opportunities are handled with a well-executed, high-touch experience
  • Moderating and capturing user-generated content within the influencer community and building that content into the local social media strategy when applicable
  • Report and analyse monthly KPIs, including follower growth of social platforms, engagement, conversation, amplification and leads across owned channels to guide and optimize overall social platform strategy
  • Maintain a content calendar and adhere to budget guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous social media is essential, 2-3 years minimum
  • Ideally degree educated in marketing or related field
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing would advantageous
  • Great eye for content and ability to leverage content across all platforms
  • Knowledge of social media marketing across Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook is essential
  • First class communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented role
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to think through, and deliver, exceptional end-to-end customer experience
  • Data/results driven, meticulous, resourceful and efficient
  • Demonstrated ability and self-motivation to excel within an environment of change and a drive for continuous improvement
  • Proactive at developing and suggesting new ideas
  • Curious nature, not afraid to use own initiative find solutions to problems
