Marketing Assistant

Providing digital and administrative support to the Marketing Manager in order to assist with the implementation of the annual Marketing, Website & Social Media Plan.

Key Job Duties:

Marketing


Supporting the Marketing Manager in all parts of online marketing including SEM/SEO, social media, digital campaigns, PPC and CRM to build engagement and brand visibility:
Social media posting on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. as directed;

  • Writing contributions for the website and other marketing channels as directed;
  • Updating the Firm`s website as directed;
  • Providing support to organise and manage annual content contributions from fee earners for website, social media and other marketing uses;
  • Liaising with designer, printers and other suppliers as directed for the production of marketing collateral (e.g. leaflets, posters, merchandise, videos etc.);
  • Managing the digital image library and assisting with the organisation of photo shoots for website, newsletters, brochures etc.; as directed;


Event Management


Supporting the Marketing Manager in a diverse range of tasks necessary to plan, organise and deliver successful events and networking opportunities:
Administration of the networking and marketing events including researching suitable venues, sending out invitations, tracking and responding to RSVPs, preparing materials/delegate badges etc., shopping for consumables, setting up prior to event, receiving and directing delegates, clearing away afterwards;

  • Support at B2B events and other external events; and collating feedback to fee earners from these events in order to follow up on leads etc.;
  • Maintaining the marketing database by ensuring all data is up to date and GDPR compliant;
  • Supporting the networking programme, researching opportunities, organising and tracking attendance; recording consent on the database for new networking contacts;


Experience and Qualifications

  • 1-2 years previous experience in a marketing role
  • A Level educated, desirable CIM Level
  • Good IT Skills - proficient use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher;
  • Digital marketing skills using websites and social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Experience of using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign or similar is desirable
  • Must have excellent grammar skills and the ability to communicate effectively and coherently both in written and spoken English language.
  • Strong and effective inter-personal skills; ability to get on with people at all levels;
  • Keeps calm under pressure; uses common sense and initiative;
  • Good time management, multi-tasking and organisational skills;
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and creative skills;
  • Pro-active; foresees and avoids potential problems;
  • Active team player; enthusiastic and of cheerful disposition.
  • Well presented
  • Car owner/driver with a clean licence (the Firm will provide business use insurance cover);
