Production Operators
Portchester
£8.20 - £11.86 per hour
Ongoing contract

Our client is an automotive parts manufacturer based in Portchester, who are looking to increase their workforce.

Full training will be provided for these roles, previous manufacturing experience is not essential but production/manufacturing experience would be advantageous.

There are various shift options for this vacancy:

Rotating shifts (6am - 1:55pm / 2:10pm - 10:05pm) Monday - Friday

£9.59 per hour, increasing to £10.46 after 12 weeks service (over 25)
£9.02 per hour, increasing to £9.85 after 12 weeks service (under 25)

Day shift (7:45am - 4:45pm, with a half day finish on Friday)

£8.72 per hour (over 25)
£8.20 per hour (under 25)

Night shift (10.05pm - 6am Monday - Friday)

£10.29 per hour, increasing to £11.86 per hour after 12 weeks service (over 25)
£9.68 per hour, increasing to £11.15 per hour after 12 weeks service (under 25)

The role:

• Efficiently and effectively manufacture automotive products following internal processes and procedures
• Checking defects on products by paying close attention to detail
• Build products to client and customer specifications
• Assist with replenishing supplies of parts when required
• Maintain and improve quality standards, report any concerns and continuously inspect work during the production process
• Adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards

Would be reliable, punctual with the ability to work to and achieve targets and looking for long term.
