Mechanical Assembly Technician

Our client based in the Havant area is looking to recruit Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble hydraulic pumps, motors, and generators according to detailed specifications and engineering drawings.
Interpret engineering drawings and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure precision and quality.
Use of measuring equipment, verniers etc.
Utilise your skills to manufacture aerospace products that meet rigorous industry standards.
Participate in 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Contribute to layout and technical responsibilities within the team.
Requirements:
Aerospace qualification or similar manufacturing assembly qualification preferred.
Strong ability to work with small tolerances and a keen attention to detail.
Capability to obtain a certification to sign off work in accordance with relevant specifications.
A diligent work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 07:15 - 15:45, Friday: 07:15 - 12:15
OR Monday - Thursday: 06:30-15:00, Friday 06:30 -11:30
