Our client based in Chichester requires a Hose Assembler.

Overview of the role:

This role involves manufacturing rubber fabricated products from sheet rubber and component materials following build specification, mould settings and technical drawings to create small to medium volume, high quality bespoke products servicing a global range of customers in fields from marine, rail, nuclear and submersible.

The ideal candidate will be driven to achieve on time despatch dates, have a good eye for detail and high level of manual dexterity, being capable of working with hand tools as well as bespoke machinery to adapt their current skill sets to our build methods, with years of guidance and knowledge being offered to mould themselves to a skilful fabricator.

A good level of English reading, writing and spoken language is necessary to be able to understand and follow specifications and drawings, and to work methodically through any problems which may be encountered with new/developing builds.
