Duties and Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting 1st and 2nd line support desk issues across a wide range of software and hardware
  • Linux & Windows administration
  • Office 365 Management
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for IT related processes and procedures
  • Assist in developing, implementing, testing and maintaining disaster recovery plans
  • Manage and troubleshoot network connectivity throughout the organisation
  • Build, configure and troubleshoot desktop and laptop systems to corporate specifications
  • Following processes for collection, cleansing and disposing of redundant hardware assets

Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • A good understanding of IT security practices and principles
  • Good knowledge of Office 365/Exchange Online & Office applications
  • Good knowledge of Windows 10 & Server 2016 (Linux Ubuntu would be an advantage)
  • A good understanding of storage systems (NAS/SAN), LAN / WAN technologies, DNS, Microsoft Active Directory/Group Policies
  • Be self-motivated, proactive and adaptable
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail, be organised with good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have a UK driving licence
