Our client is a specialist supplier and installer of residential systems and due to growth is looking to add to its busy Waterlooville office. They require a Finance Administrator / Accounts Assistant who can take on basic bookkeeping duties, as detailed below, and provide other administrative office support. You will work closely as part of a small team and have the support of the company accountant when required. This role is available for an immediate start.

Main Duties

  • Accounts and finance administration – generating sales invoices, processing supplier invoices, bank reconciliation, chasing payments, process and reconcile credit card payments, set-up and process direct debits.
  • Liaising with company accountants on any issues.
  • Expenses – Process fuel, accommodation and other items for field engineers. Monitor debit card spend, collation of VAT receipts.
  • Client Maintenance Contracts – Generate all paperwork.
  • Arrange hotel accommodation and courses for engineers.
  • Assist with the handling of incoming calls and emails and ordering office supplies.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Previous experience in a similar accounts assistant, finance assistant or finance administrator role
  • Knowledge of Sage is desirable – Sage Line 50 ideally
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
