Our client is an innovative manufacturing company that is looking for individuals with a passion for personal and professional development. As part of their team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with talented individuals, and make a real impact on their business.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Manage projects from start through to handover which includes but not limited to Layout preparation, equipment commissioning & supporting documentation.
  • With the use of CIP & LEAN principles identify ways to reduce production costs, improve efficiencies and yield.
  • You will provide day to day support to production leaders.
  • Proactive problem-solving support of reoccurring productions issues including downtime, performance and quality issues using various problem-solving techniques eg; 5Y's, Fishbone, 8D's, etc.
  • Work closely with inter departments eg; supply chain, production and technical team to enable continuous improvement of all performance & quality related KPI's in line with the company objectives.

What you will need to succeed:

  • You will have a good understanding of OEE, BOM's, Project management
  • Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodologies ie: VSM, 5S, 8 wastes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Be able to manage change effectively
  • You will be a self-starter and react well to change in a fast-paced environment
