BUSINESS OBJECTIVE

To be recognised as a market leader providing and servicing innovative solutions and products for smoke control, ventilation, climate technology and solar shading.

JOB OBJECTIVE

To perform the key areas of the role enabling the Company to achieve its strategies, objectives and targets. Employees will show their commitment to the company by implementing and complying with processes and procedures. Company objectives will be discussed and agreed at Management Review Meetings then cascaded down to all employees during annual PDR appraisals and other regular departmental communications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be an integral part of the QHSE team. Supporting the QHSE Manager and Operations Director in driving safe and consistent processes and practices.

The key responsibilities for the QSHE Coordinator role will be to:

• Provide support to the QHSE team in the development and implementation of the integrated management system.

• Document control for IMS

• Contribute to achieving company objectives.

• Collection of weekly and monthly KPI information.

• Delivery of information for month end reporting.

• Maintaining complete and accurate QHSE records to the Company standard.

• Help maintain training records for staff and subcontractors.

• Support the Purchasing Manager to maintain the approved supplier database.

• Assist the QHSE team to organise, prepare and take minutes of meetings.

• Other adhoc administration tasks as necessary.

KEY OBJECTIVES/OUTCOMES

Promote QHSE

• Provide support to the operations and service division to help achieve Company objectives.

• Promote a positive QHSE culture by leading by example.

Performance Management

• Support the QHSE Manager to obtain and maintain KPIs.

• Support QHSE Manager to deliver month end reporting to UK Management Team and Group

Learning & Development

• Support QHSE team to maintain training records and skills matrix.

• Plan and book training course where a training need is identified

Policies & Procedures

• Have a general understanding of current legislation that affects the organisation, i.e. Working at height, Noise etc…

• Support QHSE Manager in maintaining document control system.

Administration

• Prepare and issue KPIs, IMS documentation.

• Maintain a robust record keeping system.

• Review and improve the information on the Intranet.

QHSE

• It is the duty of all employees to act within the legal responsibilities imposed upon them and the company QHSE Policy.

• All employees are to be familiar with the integrated management system processes and procedures of the Company.

• Responsible for maintaining employee records, recruitment and maintaining policies and procedures.

• Also responsible for the administrative function within the Company including the learning and development of employees and ensuring that Performance and Development Reviews are conducted annually.

Compliance

• We are committed to ensuring regulatory compliance for the products and solutions we offer.

• Employees must adhere to processes and procedures that have been implemented to ensure compliance.

• Employees must report any concerns to their line manager or the Technical Director/Compliance Lead.

QUALIFICATIONS

Desirable

• QHSE qualification i.e. NEBOSH.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong IT and numeracy skills familiar with Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to challenge organisational culture where necessary.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to understand detailed information.
  • Ability to compile and interpret statistical data and communicate it in a professional and understandable manner.
  • Knowledge or understanding of management systems.
  • Previous experience in construction or manufacturing industries.
