Quality Manager

Fareham

Workshop Recruitment have teamed up with a global leading supplier of fibre optic measurement systems based in Fareham. They are on the lookout for an experienced Quality Manager to join their team to work alongside colleagues to assure the business develops, delivers and maintains products and services that meet or exceed our customer requirements.

The role will include:

  • Providing all the necessary documentation needed to supply products and services to our customers
  • Providing assurance through audits and reviews
  • Championing continuous improvement through the use of six sigma / lean techniques to help teams deliver timely business and process improvements and address root causes
  • Working with customers, suppliers and subcontractors in a collaborative way to build lasting relationships
  • Taking on responsibility to assure compliance with contractual, regulatory and other sector specific requirements
  • Liaising with the Senior Leadership Team to support and deliver the goals of the business
  • Developing and driving the Company Quality objectives and strategy. Anticipating future risks and developing innovative solutions
  • Supporting external agency, accreditation body & customer audits

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Previous experience within Production, Manufacturing / Engineering organisations
  • PPAP experience
  • Good understanding of configuration and data control processes and procedures
  • Experienced Internal Auditor or training to ISO9001
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, quality or business management
  • High attention to detail and capable of delivering to agreed timescales
  • Enjoy coaching/facilitating to get the best out of teams and individuals
  • Team orientated, but able to work under own initiative and take the lead when required
  • Excellent at developing and managing relationships
  • Being aligned to our core values of Respect, nurture, agile and innovative
