Team Leader – Warehouse / Distribution / Logistics

Working within a new facility your duties will be-

• Reporting to a Team Manager and Senior Management in terms of KPI’s for the team on daily shifts.
• Managing the work area - report concerns in terms of staff, issues surrounding health & safety and problems with quality.
• Maintaining accuracy and efficiency within the team

Experience:

• Experience in a team leader role (or higher)
• Experience working in a warehouse or operations environment.
• Working knowledge of a WMS system is essential
• Keen interest in bicycle or knowledge of bike building or repairs

Competencies:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Red Prairie system with experience in using Excel for reporting
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Forward planning skills and the ability to proactively manage time
• Confident and able to direct others in a positive and motivating way
• Empathetic and able to demonstrate it
• Comfortable dealing with conflict or challenging situations and can do so in a controlled manner

Ability to be flexible with work duties and hours to meet the needs of the site and business, including weekend and shift work if required.

Working Hours

8am- 4pm Monday to Friday

(May change to a double day shift patterns in the future, currently working double days during Covid-19 to enable social distancing on site)
