Workshop Recruitment are looking for an Electrical Working Foreman for a contract in the Isle of Wight.
You will be sharing the working foreman duties for the ILC site with the Fabric/Mechanical Working Foreman with one of you present on the site at all times. You will be responsible for carrying out and managing electrical responsibilities (in house & subcontracted) reactive and PPM delivered at the RNLI ILC (Inshore Lifeboat Centre) and will be allocated time to do this. The remainder of your time will be carrying out electrical trade and foreman related works to other clients on the Isle of Wight.
As the Working Foreman you are accountable for ensuring you, and those that you, support and supervise follow and comply with Contract and Company processes and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Technical Electrical knowledge of working methods, practices, RAMS, regulations, legislation and British standards.
- Have knowledge of the materials and methods used in the electrical industry
- A range of knowledge from electrical installation work to electrical motors and fault finding.
QUALIFICATION
- NVQ level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent (Essential)
- 18th edition (Desirable)
- 2391 or equivalent in Inspecting and Testing (Desirable)
- SSSTS Health and Safety (Desirable)
- Scaffold Inspector course (Desirable)
- FLT / PASMA / First Aid (Desirable)
- Have a full driving licence.
EXPERIENCE
- 5 years’ experience of working in an electrical maintenance environment.
- 2 years’ experience of working in Commercial electrical environment (preferred).
- Proven success in meeting PPM compliance
- Managing the delivery of electrical repairs and planned works
