Job Description

This is a role with varied duties including warehouse/yard, driving and general trade support/labouring.

A full, clean drivers licence is required and you must be able to drive vans/flatbed trucks.

You will assist with maintaining a tidy warehouse, delivering goods to required local destinations and collecting rubbish from our sites. You will assist with the checking/maintenance plant & Equipment.

Duties Include…

• Assist with the picking of products in the warehouse.

• Ensure goods are loaded onto company vehicles in a safe manner.

• Assist with all forklift duties as and when required.

• Assist with the cleaning of warehouses as directed

• Ensure the yard is kept clean and tidy

• Assist with plant checking and maintenance

• Assist with the PAT testing of portable equipment

• Using company vehicle, drive stock out to our operatives on site as and when required, driving in a safe manner.

• Assist our Trades at the delivery destination when required, with lifting and carrying of delivered goods to the place where they will be used, to ensure goods are delivered damage free.

• Collect any rubbish from Trades that needs to be returned to our main yard.

• Ensure that all duties undertaken are carried out in accordance with good risk management and health & safety policies

Skills Required

• Full Clean driving licence and ability to driver larger vans and/or a flatbed truck

• Forklift licence an advantage

• Computer literate

• Previous warehouse experience an advantage

• Experience in ‘small’ plant and tool maintenance

• Excellent organisational/time management skills

• Team player who can also prioritise works without instruction

• Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines

• Strong communication skills

Monday to Friday

08.00 – 17.00 (30 mins break)

PAY

£10.50 - £11 per hour PAYE
