Workshop recruitment are currently in the market for a business support administrator to join our client, a market leader providing and servicing innovative solutions and products for smoke control, ventilation, climate technology and solar shading based in Petersfield.

The Business Support Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Leadership Team and the rest of the organisation, specifically Sales & Marketing, Finance and Operations. All general administrative tasks will be carried out in accordance with current processes and procedures.

General responsibilities

  • To provide general administration (including attending meetings and taking minute when required) to cover the requirements of the business but also to work closely with the UK Managing Director and Leadership Team.
  • To prepare PowerPoint presentations as and when required.
  • Maintain Organisation Charts.
  • Arrange all internal and external meetings/venues for the UK Leadership Team and the rest of the business.
  • Book all travel and hotel arrangements as and when required, and provide the Finance Director with a monthly spreadsheet confirming spend.
  • Make tea/coffee/refreshments for meetings as and when required.
  • Review and process monthly expenses for the Project Managers, Site Managers and Commissioning Engineers, prior to forwarding for approval.
  • Collating receipts for credit card expenses for the UK Leadership Team.
  • Placing and monitoring stationery orders and cleaning supplies.
  • Assist the MD with holiday bookings for the UK Leadership Team.
  • Open and distribute post / Send out post.
  • Ensuring supplies for milk, tea and coffee are maintained within the Petersfield Office.
  • Undertake other duties for the UK Leadership Team as required.

Experience

  • Experience of working in an open office environment
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Admin role
  • Good time management, coordination and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft office
  • Good literacy and numeracy.
