Our client, a family run business, who are a specialist in providing construction and railway Plant and Machinery hires are keen to grow their existing team with a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

You will have previous scheduling experience from a plant, construction or engineering bias and the ability to maintain complete Excel spread sheets with project information and finance details.

Your role will be coordinating the hire of the plant machinery and operators to their training capabilities in the most economical manner.

To be successful you will need to..

  • Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Schedule hires and Operators workloads to their capabilities
  • Provide administrative support to the operations team
  • Utilise computerised systems for record-keeping and documentation
  • Assist with QuickBooks entries and basic financial tasks
  • Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling calls
  • Type correspondence and reports as needed
  • Proficiency in using Google Suite for various office tasks

Knowledge and skills required..

  • Planning and Scheduling experience is essential
  • Previous experience in an office or administrative role
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
  • Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records including in depth Excel spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of Construction, Rail or Plant industry is required
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Full UK Driving License

Working hours

  • 7am – 4pm
  • Monday to Friday

  • £24,000.00 - £31,666.15 depending on experience
