We are proud to be an active member of the Recruitment and Employment Federation (REC), one of the biggest recruitment industry representative bodies.

The REC is a strong voice for over 10,000 recruiters and 3,300 recruitment businesses. They effectively empower recruiters and raise standards by providing key legal, compliance, and business support. They are the singular recruitment industry body to have an actual influence within the government.

The Confederation also has a variety of extensive and informative pieces of training to help recruiters develop the tools necessary to progress successfully within the industry. They host hundreds of annual events to keep members abreast of industry updates or changes, as well as to provide excellent networking and relationship-building opportunities.

The REC also provides auditing services, mentoring, and consultancy, and a membership with them gives members exclusive access to recruitment law specialists, as well as to a large library of employment law template contracts, policies, and legal guides.

It is necessary to pass a compliance test and agree to adopt their policies in order to join the REC and stay in membership. This test is designed to assess knowledge on the relevant legislation and to ensure compliance with the ethics in the REC’s Code of Professional Practice. The test needs to be completed every two years.

We take our membership to the REC very seriously and recently took the test and passed with a fantastic score of 98%, way surpassing the 80% minimum pass rate. We display the REC badge with pride and know that we have all the tools in place to always remain within the legal obligations, consistently act ethically, and have comprehensive and knowledgeable support right at our fingertips should we ever need it.
