What’s your background?

Early career in London working within retail and for large high street recruitment agencies within the commercial sector. The opportunity to relocate to Portsmouth presented itself and I accepted the change of location and to stick with an awesome Manager I had at the time

What do you do at your company?

Develop and build relationships with clients promoting Workshop Recruitment’s services

What are your credentials/past experience that led to you being here?

Working for corporate organisations who invested in training and development. I have a deep love of sales which has just grown and grown – we are all sales people. I also love speaking to people on the phone – do people still do that? It is a great way to get to know someone in order to build solid lasting relationship. I consider myself empathic and a good listener and with 20 plus years in
recruitment I still learn something everyday.

What do you like about working at your company?

We have as little politics as possible and open communication.

What are the values that drive you?

Be honest, be loyal, be kind and always persevere – you have to take the rough with the smooth and some days are going to be better than others. I always tell myself when things aren’t going to well – tomorrows another day own it!

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Walking my cockapoos in all weathers. Visiting my family in my beloved Yorkshire Sunshine and light night I adore the summer and love to holiday with friends (you know who you are) I am not a keen flyer so Spain, Italy Greece are my go-to destinations.
